“Amazing, simply amazing,” are the words that left elder, Ricky Murray speechless when he talks about throwing out the first pitch at the Bowling Green Hot Rods game on July 16th.
On June 19, 2018, Signature HealthCARE of Bowling Green celebrated our residents June birthdays with cake and ice cream, but we had one special birthday. Mrs. Zona Embry turn 101 on June 19, 2018. She celebrated with her family and other residents. Mrs. Zona Embry has 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren. Earline Sharp her daughter and Kathy Embry daughter-in-law stated that Mrs. Embry raised her children and grandchildren and work hard all of her life. We hope that Mrs. Embry has many more years.

Today was Disney day marking the 2nd day of Activity Professional Week. Signature HealthCARE of Bowling Green staff had a great time dressing up as their favorite Disney Characters. Everyone is having a wonderful time celebrating this week. January 24, 2018 is the 50’s day, so everyone dress up and lets have some fun. Thank you all for making this a wonderful week for our Activities department!
Today is the first date of Activity Professional Week, today was Hippie Day. Staff dressed up to help celebrated this special week. Tell your activity staff they are special and thank them.
We’re celebrating Activity Professional Week from January 21 -27! Take the time to tell your Quality Life Staff how great they are and how much you appreciated them. I work with two of the most wonderful ladies. We have worked together for many years, we have different personalities, views and sometimes we don’t always agree with each other. We always have each other backs and are here for one another.
We do a lot more than activities! Some days your job is challenging. We are here for one reason, and it is for your residents to make sure the have the best Quality of Life. Thank you Sheila and Jackie for everything you do for the residents and families at Signature HealthCARE of Bowling Green.
